Retrospective 2009 - A look behind the scenes

  Many tasks await the team during the next seven days: Until now everything is still calm at the TERRE DES FEMMES table packed with books and brochures on the work of TERRE DES FEMMES and our box for the evaluations sheets. Kathrin and Tabea await ...


  ...the run for tickets at Museum Cinema...
  ... although at Arsenal theater it is also often quite difficult to maintain the overview...
  Paulo then helps out in the transportation of film prints...

  Film print support Thomas helps out behind the Arsenal bar ...
  ... while voluntary helper Carolin attends the bar during the champagne reception for the honorary guests...
  ... and also offers champagne to the many voluntary helpers.
  Meanwhile, the TDF table at Museum Cinema...
  ... and Arsenal Cinema is being attended by former interns of the Festival,...

  Sometimes we have the opportunity to prepare our duties in relatively calm waters...
  but mostly we are too busy to even eat, and don't have a chance for it until quite late at night...
  ... although we do occasionally get the chance to celebrate with a drink, like here during the last evening at Arsenal cinema...
  ... during which the last farewell picture is taken.
  Finally, the team is able to eat together and enjoy themselves - after the filmfestival!
  Especially our print support Thomas is very fond of this, as well as Marc, as both - due to their responsibility in attending the film prints - usually cannot leave the site of the cinemas
 

And then, the team tries to interpret what’s written in the stars for the upcoming 2010 filmfestival?

Certainly great things...

  ... at least the course is already set in terms of a small cozy office for the future filmfest team...
  ... for Women’s Worlds 2010 and many years to come...
  ... as a small gift from TERRE DES FEMMES and the filmfest team 2009 to their successors.
