Film: God is not working on Sunday!
Among other things, her work includes a book and exhibition project
of the Dachau Concentration Camp, as well as a photographic project in
co-operation with "Escape to the Front" on unaccompanied young
refugees in Germany.
Leona Goldstein published an impressive multimedia
project as a result of a six-month research fellowship on flight and
migration in West Africa, France and Germany. It presents three photo-essays
on the refugees in front of and within the "Fortress of Europe",
as well as two documentary films: Au clair de la lune ... analyzes
the causes that lead people in Burkina Faso, the Ivory Coast and Mali
to
escape to Europe and Le Heim documents the everyday life of isolation
and uncertainty awaiting refugees in Europe.
In 2009, she took part in
the Masterclass "Documentary for Human Rights and New Media" of
