Keller-Messahli
Keller-Messahli founded the Association in 2004 with the goal to offer
a platform for a critical debate without taboos around Islam in Switzerland,
to open the inner Islamic perspective and also to question the way Muslims
see themselves and to bring on a new basis that is committed to human
rights and the principles of democracy. In addition to this, she teaches
courses on behalf of the SAZ (Swiss Education Centre for Penitentiary
System Personnel) in Fribourg CH in the topic How to Recognize Jihadism.
In the area of film, she was two times member of the Jury at the International
Documentary Film Festival Visions du Réèl in Nyon (CH),
translated and worked on diverse films for the Programme Sternstunde
Kunst (Sidereal Hour of Arts) and was also member of the questioning
team of the Programme Sternstunde Philosophie (Sidereal Hour of Philosophy)
in Swiss Television.
