Dr. med. Gabriele Halder

Dr. med. Gabriele Halder will be present as an expert after the film CALL JANE.

Dr. Gabriele Halder is a registered specialist in gynecology and obstetrics. Her work focuses mainly on family planning and pregnancy. Already during her studies she was active in a student working group for sexual therapy and offered consultations in the women’s center. She worked in the interdisciplinary research group for the prevention of osteoporosis in peri- and postmenopausal women at the Steglitz Clinic and was at the same time the first gynecologist to work for Pro Familia Berlin. Due to her knowledge of Turkish, she was able to take care of the needs of migrant women in particular.

Gabriele Halder is a German board member of the International Association for Abortion and Contraception (FIAPAC) and a founding member of the Family Planning Center Berlin e.V. – BALANCE, which was founded in 1992. The center offers medical care and counseling in the areas of family planning, sexuality and women’s health.
