MEHDI BAJESTANI is a popular Iranian theater and film actor. He made his stage debut in 1997 at the Municipal Theater of Iran, where he starred in his first role in a play by Bertolt Brecht, The Caucasian Chalk Circle, directed by Hamid Samandarian. Since then, he has worked with contemporary Iranian theater directors such as Vahid Rahbani, Shahab Hosseini and Maedeh Tahmasebi and performed on stage more than 800 times. He has also had regular roles in television and cinema for the past two decades, including the films NARGESI, SWEET TASTE OF IMAGINATION, AZAR, THERE ARE THINGS YOU DON’T KNOW, and the TV series Whisper and The Story of a City., the latter by director Asghar Farhadi.
Mehdi Bajestani will be present as protagonist after HOLY SPIDER.
