But when the 17-year-old becomes pregnant unintentionally, her dream of a professional career is in danger of being shattered. In a country where abortion is criminalized, Sofia decides to have an illegal abortion and becomes the target of evangelical extremists who want to stop her at all costs. But Sofia does not give up. Supported by her father, her team and the woman she loves, she fights resolutely for her freedom and her future. POWER ALLEY is an impressive portrait that shows how profoundly an unplanned pregnancy can affect the lives of young women.
