Jessika Nitzschker is a qualified psychologist and systemic consultant. During her studies, she worked on a research project on language development in childhood. In a fully inpatient youth welfare facility, she accompanied and supported young people who had early experiences with violence, crime and psychiatry, initially as a psychologist and later also in the role of educational supervisor. For more than five years, she has been working as a family counselor at a counseling center of the Child Protection Center Berlin. She advises families in the context of suspected and proven child endangerment. Her other areas of expertise include advising professionals on the assessment of child endangerment and conducting training courses and lectures on child protection topics, in particular sexualized violence against children, parental discussions in the context of endangerment or children of mentally ill parents. She is also a member of the board of the Child Protection Center.<\/h2>
