Pranami Koch is a queer, indigenous multimedia artist, designer, and fi lmmaker from Assam in Northeast India. She draws inspiration from her lived, borrowed, and inherited experiences, with a keen interest in archiving and exploring the politics of representation and depiction. Her work examines gender and indigeneity, delving into the contours of memory and intimacy while exploring the cultural threads that shape human relationships in connection with the environment and the land. Her debut fi lm as a director, \u201cBoi Thaka (The Flow of Resilience)\u201d, was created as her fi nal-year graduation project, marking her entry into fi lmmaking. She has since completed<\/strong><\/h5>
her second short documentary, \u201cKoro Gochongni (Echoes Within)\u201d, and is currently working on directing and producing another short non-fi ction fi lm titled \u201cWhat Would It Mean to See a Cobra in a Dream? (Xopunot Pheti Xaap Dekhile Ki Hoi?)\u201d<\/strong><\/h5>
Outside of her artistic work, Pranami takes joy in cooking pork dishes and exploring forgotten recipes with her mother\u2014a shared practice of storytelling and memory. She also delights in getting her hands dirty in the garden, where tending to her beloved plants becomes a quiet form of self-expression and care.<\/strong><\/h5>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
