SECONDO FELLINI in 2003. Since then, she has been photographing and producing her own films: SHADOWS OF FATE and A REFUGEE CHILDHOOD in 2006, and WASSER UND SEIFE in 2008, which she distributed herself to cinemas in German-speaking countries. Susan also works as a freelance cinematographer for documentary films and has been to Mexico, Guyana, Brazil, China, Israel, Bhutan, Japan, India, Nepal, Indonesia, Kenya, Korea, Namibia, Seychelles, Senegal, Chad, the USA, and Europe. In 2014, PLAYING HOOKY - GETTING OLD IS NOT FOR SISSIES premiered at the Hof Film Festival and will be shown in German cinemas in 2016. The film has received numerous awards, including the rating \u201cparticularly valuable\u201d from the German Film and Media Evaluation (FBW), First Prize at the Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival (KIMFF), the Mayor&#8217;s Award, Zakopane, Poland, and Best Documentary at the Nepal America International Film Festival, Washington D.C. The film was nominated for the German Film Award (LOLA) and the German Human Rights Film
