Can feminism and religion coexist, or are they mutually exclusive? Inna Shevchenko, activist and co-founder of the Ukrainian FEMEN movement, talks to female priests, imams, rabbis, theologians, and activists who defend their faith while trying to reconcile it with feminist values. <\/strong>
\nIn her exchanges with them, Inna asks fundamental questions: Why are there no female deities? Why is the female body considered unclean in many religions? And why are men often allowed to make more decisions about women’s bodies and lives than women themselves? Arash T. Riahi
geboren im Iran, kam 1982 als Sohn politischer Flu\u0308chtlinge nach \u00d6sterreich. 1997 war er Mitbegru\u0308nder der Produktionsfirma Golden Girls Film. Seit 202 ist er Co-Pr\u00e4sident der \u00d6sterreichischen Akademie des Films. Sein Werk als Regisseur und Produzent wurde mit mehr als 200 Preisen ausgezeichnet und umfasst verschiedene Kurz- und Experimentalfilme, Dokumentarfilme, darunter \u201aExile Family Movie\u2018 (Gewinner des Filmfestivals Leipzig) oder das crossmediale Projekt \u201aEveryday Rebellion\u2018 (CPH:DOX Publikumspreis). Sein erster Spielfilm \u201eFu\u0308r einen Moment Freiheit\u201c war \u00d6sterreichs Kandidat fu\u0308r die Academy Awards 2010. Sein zweiter Spielfilm \u201eWhere no one knows us\u201c war mit 22 Auszeichnungen der erfolgreichste Film \u00d6sterreichs im Jahr 2020.<\/h5>
Verena Solitz
arbeitete zu Beginn ihrer Karriere schwerpunktm\u00e4\u00dfig im Bereich Dokumentarfilm, ua. fu\u0308r Impulstanz, Red Bull oder ORF. Ihre Dokumentation \u201e1:1 - Thierry Henry\u201c feierte seine Premiere im Tribeca Cinema New York. Ihr Musikvideo \u201eBlankest Year\u201c fu\u0308r die New Yorker Band Nada Surf wurde beim weltweit renommierten Resfest gezeigt. Sp\u00e4ter verlagerte sie ihren Fokus auf Werbefilmproduktionen fu\u0308r Marken wie BWIN, Austrian Airlines und Vivo. Ihre Arbeiten wurden mehrfach ausgezeichnet, unter anderem mit CCA Awards, beim Saatchi & Saatchi New Director\u2019s Showcase, dem Montreux Finalist Award sowie beim New York Film Festival. In den vergangenen Jahren schrieb und realisierte sie zahlreiche Station IDs, Kulturspots und Trailer fu\u0308r das ZDF, ua. fu\u0308r Jan B\u00f6hmermann, Kristina Vogel, das Museum Schwerin oder das Arp Museum, welche mehrfach bei den Eyes & Ears Awards Europe ausgezeichnet wurden.
