Afghanistan today: Women and girls are denied access to education, work, and public spaces. The panel discusses what external assistance is possible—and how films can help to highlight this injustice.
Following the two films WRITING HAWA (16:45) and THE LAST AMBASSADOR (18:45), this panel makes an urgent appeal to stand by the women of Afghanistan. Three important Afghan women’s voices convey the urgency of taking action.
