Charlotte Devillers, Arnaud Dufeys, Belgium, 2025, 78 min., feature film, French with German subtitles

Alice is fighting in court for sole custody of her two children, Lila and Étienne, who no longer want any contact with their father. Although the father is facing charges of sexual abuse against his son and is also accused of neglecting his daughter and putting her under psychological pressure, the lines between guilt and responsibility become blurred during the trial, and Alice eventually finds herself facing accusations. In this situation, she cannot afford to make any mistakes and does everything she can to make her children’s fears and demands heard before it is too late – a gripping courtroom drama about the traumatic struggle against post-separation violence.
