To set the tone for the festival, this year’s Warm-Up featured the film GIRLS & GODS. Following the screening, FEMEN activist Inna Shevchenko and the directing duo Verena Soltiz and Arash T. Riahi talked about the provocative film and its themes of women’s rights and religion in a Q&A session. Earlier, the anniversary exhibition was officially opened: Irene Jung, former festival director from Tübingen, took the guests on a journey through 25 years of festival history, while Karin Schyle, the current festival director, guided them through the evening.
