Foyer at Kino in der KulturBrauerei from 15-29.10.2024
Around 300 million people menstruate every day. Yet many are denied the basic right to manage their cycle in a dignified and healthy way. Most of us have never heard of menstrual discrimination. Education, work, health, mobility, family relationships – all of these and more are affected by this discrimination. It is a key obstacle to women’s self-determination.
The exhibition consists of photos, videos, interview excerpts and informative texts. The women who speak here openly share their personal stories. They have the courage to share their lives, their feelings and their experiences with the world. Here are their “Stories of Menstruation”.
In cooperation with NIDISI, a Nepalese-European NGO that aims to reduce inequalities by building social enterprises.
Access is included in the movie ticket.
