The 25th Women’s Worlds Film Festival is picking up speed!

A quarter of a century of cinema dedicated to equality, self-determination, and freedom—from October 29 to November 4, 2025, the Women’s World Film Festival will celebrate its 25th anniversary at the Kino in der KulturBrauerei Berlin.

The film program is almost complete and will include numerous Berlin and German premieres. A variety of short or feature-length fiction films and documentaries will be shown, addressing the realities of women’s lives worldwide and raising current feminist issues to open up lively discussions.

Jasmin Tabatabai will be the festival’s patron once again this year, which is a special honour for the festival.

To celebrate the anniversary, there will be a special supporting programme: a Sunday matinee in honor of Christa Stolle, who will receive carte blanche for her film of choice, a retrospective with outstanding works from previous festival years, and an accompanying anniversary exhibition.

Preparations are in full swing –the first programme highlights will be announced soon. Stay tuned!
