Anuscheh Amir-Khalili is a German Iranian who fled with her family during the Iran-Iraq war as a child. Here she founded the NGO Flamingo e.V. network for refugee women* and children and the female social entrepreneurship Band of Sisters. She is a women’s rights activist, Iranian scholar and anthropologist with a focus on people, the environment and nature. Here she combines urban transcultural community gardens with feminism.She is a research associate at the anstiftung and honorary jury member of the Women AG Foundation Redistribute.
