From 28.10 to 04.11.2020, the 20th Women’s Worlds Film Festival took place for the first time at the Kino in der Kulturbrauerei Berlin and online after its move from Tübingen to Berlin. Screened were 31 short, feature and documentary films from 30 countries on the global women’s rights situation. Present were 12 experts, directors and actors for talks after the films and for roundtable discussions. In total, over 2400 guests were present online and in the cinema in the Kulturbrauerei.

A highlight of this year’s festival was the roundtable discussion on “Gender Equality in Drama” with Sheri Hagen, Barbara Rohm, Nina Hoss and Sabrina Kürzinger. You can access the recording here.
