Despite COVID-19, the 20th FrauenWelten Film Festival will take place as planned from 28.10–04.11.2020 in Berlin in the cinema of the Kulturbrauerei.
All events will comply the safety regulations prescribed by COVID-19. The health of our visitors has the highest priority, so we will adjust our program to the current situation and make sure you can enjoy a safe festival visit.
This year again, FrauenWelten will present current shorts, features and documentary films on the situation of women worldwide, highlighting injustices, informing about positive developments and offering the opportunity to participate. Films by women and a differentiated presentation of women and girls are to be promoted in this way. The film program will be supplemented by a multi-layered supporting program with discussion rounds, in which women’s rights activists, directors and experts will be present.
